Building quality into Odell Cords, South Bend Fabrics and South Bend Tubes has done more to secure permanent customers for us than anything else we cou Id do. The kind of quality we put into our tires is evidenced by their exceptional performance reflected in their extra mileage. Illach tire is built up slowly and carefully by hand. 1 here is no skimping or tinting anywhere no soft spots or weak places. Being built up slowly and carefully by hand it is possible for our workers to see to it that every tire is a perfect job. Only the highest type of rubber experts are employed. Only the finest grades of rubber are used. Not one ounce of reclaimed rubber is used in our products. Odell Cords and South Bend Tires are sold with a guar-

Twin Cylinder Jolies

The only two-cylinder motor in the world to drive r bicycle. Replaces the rear wheel of any standard bicycle, changing it to a light-weight, economical motor bike. The Johnson Motor Wheel consists of a twin-cylinder motor, extra strong wheel with a 2-inch motorcycle fabric clincher tire, patented shock-absorbing driving sprocket, gasoline tank, controls, magneto, electric light generator and motorcycle stand. To make a Two-Cylinder Motor Bike, insert the Johnson Motor Wheel in place of the rear wheel of any bicycle; fasten the gasoline tank to the frame, clamp the control to the handle bar, and fill the gasoline tank. The Johnson Motor Wheel starts easily and quickly. The speed control is simple and reliable. The machine is practically fool-proof. With ordinary care it will outlast several bicycles. It is light enough for anyone to handle. (The motor itself weights but 24J'4 pounds.) The Johnson Motor Wheel will run one hundred and fifty miles on a gallon of gasoline. Six thousand miles on a set of tires is a fair average. If used to go to and from your place of business the cost of operation is less than car arc. It has a speed range of 6 to 35 miles per hour, and will keep the road. The smoothness with which the motor runs is a joy to you every time you ride. There is net the least vibration to jar or wrench the frame of the bicycle and the motor is so placed that there is no danger of soiling or injuring the clothing. The cost of upkeep is negligible. You. who are employed in town, can live in the country away from the smoke and the noise. Your family can have all the benefits of country air, and the incomparable benefits of a close intimacy with nature's things. Yet, you can be to work on time, and home on time with no running or waiting for stuffy cars. Thousands of bicycles now being used by collectors, messenger boys and salesmen. Merchants can reduce the cost of light delivery by the use of the Johnson Motor Wheel.
