This is an invitation to everyone in South Bend and vicinity to attend the ceremonies attendant upon the construction of the new Million Dollar Palace Theater and building at Michigan street and Colfax avenue. As the new Palace will essentially be everybody's theater and one of the finest amusement places west of New York city it is hoped that everyone, old and young, alike, will avail themselves of this opportunity, rain or shine, and be among those present so that the event will be one of the most auspicious in South Bend civic history.

WHY BUY NON-SKIDS?

non-skid

You don't like to skid, do vou Well, non-skid tire

trends do reduce the skidding danger. Probably any kind of a non-skid tread lessens skidding, but the heavy geared-to-thc-road Miller tires öfter the greatest possible tire resistance to the side slip. The caterpillar tread sets its edges right against the dirt and makes it hard for the tire to move sidewise. 1 hey hold the tires steadily in their track, wet or dry. You know how a smooth tread slides around on a rough road and on the curves even when dry. Another thing, too. You get more power from a nonskid Miller because the tread presents a resisting edge against spinning. The tire takes hold with its full grip all the time. All the power that goes into the drive wheels produces driving energy. More power, less gasoline, more comfort and safety, less danger, more power on the hills going up and a longer coast coming down. And then, the additional cost of Miller non-skids is more than returned in additional wear from the thicker tread. The extra wearing thickness of the tread costs less because the lining and sidewall and other construction expenses are already taken care of in the round tread price. Let us show you Miller non-skds. SiBiiii-WooMey Co. TIRES AND ACCESSORIES SERVICE STATION 116-118 Lincoln Way East Lincoln 1766 Open Week Days 7 a. m. till 9 p. m. Until Noon Sundays
