Dunham st. K(dacs will be brought before the board of public safety for a hearing Friday night. In hi complaints agair.st Kolacz, Markiewicz says that on Wednesday nir-:ht at C o'clock Officer K(dacz entered his soft drink place at 1 202 W. Dunham st. in a drunken condition and proceeded to strike both Markievic7. and his two young sons. M.ir-ki.-virz said he was hit with .su"h force by the officer he was knocked apair.st n n ire box. Markiewicz said Kolacz entered the rear room of the place where his two young sons were playing with a basketball. He struck the boys, and when they railed to their father, Kolacz struck him. When asked the reason for his actions, It i.s charged Kolacz suid that he "was se drunk." The officer in leaving the place smashed the window in the door with his first, it is alleged. Ixter, according to Markiewicz. he returned and wished to pay for the broken window, bat would offer no explanation for his conduct. Immediately upon tho complaint of Markiewicz Chief Kline suspended Kolacz. Kolacz has been a member of the police force for two years and was a day patrolman.
