Director of Life Saving For Red Cross to Conduct Classes in City. Word haH been received by Mrs. S. N. Bauer, of the local chapter of th Rd Cros, to the effect that William P. Clyne. director of life saving for tho lake division, will be in Mishawaka March 10, 11 and 12 and will conduct clause for Instruction on resuscitation. These classes will be held in the central fire station and the public Is invited to Join th"m. In his letter to Mm. Hauer, Mr. Clyne say, "I would b very much plat to eHtahllh a life-saving corps or any number of them In Mtuhawalift, and will teach resuscitation to the police and tire departmnts. If I can be of .my further servier to you, do not hesitate to call upon rn." Mr. Clyno teaches the Shaffer method of resuscitation which deals thoroughly with tho element of rescue without any kind of mechanical assistance. He will give instruction In life saving, first aid and resuscitation made necessary by injury from either fire or drowning. The lire departments of the various factories are especially Invited to take advantage of the classes.

Skunks in particular have evidenced a readiness to be lured from their holes, and aro paying the penalty therefor. Ccon skins are very scarce, and only a few mink have been brought into the market thus far, although it is belicvet; that the increasing prices will stimulate the trapi'crs tu greater effort. A few ermine have been sent from the north anil command a good price. On the whole, however, skins are but 3 percent plentiful as they were at this time last season.
