TO INVESTIGATE FOOTBALL GAME

Athletic Board of Control Will Take Up Mishawaka South Bend Game.

The football game in the championsip series between Mishawaka and South Bend high schools at Springbrook, Nov. 20, and won by the former is to be investigated by the board of control of athletics of Northern Indiana which is composed of the principals of the high schools of the state. Those of Mishawaka and South Bend have been requested to appear before this board to give their views regarding the controversy which developed in connection with the game, It is understood that the letter written to The News-Times by Donald B Smith, and published a few days after the game and which received favorable editorial comment, will form the basis of the investigation. Mr. Smith's handling of the situation was that of a football expert, and his letter was widely quoted.

MARRIED THURSDAY EVENING. Ernest Miller and Kathryn L. Whitehead, both of Elkhart, were married Thursday evening at the Evangelical parsonage by Rev. E. E. Evans. Fred Baughman of Kendallville acted as best man and Miss Gladys Foraker of Elkhart was bridesmaid. Mr. and Mrs. Miller will reside in Elkhart where the groom is employed as a draughtsman in one of the factories.

WEDDINGS. Ivo Swift and Mrs. May Stutzman both of this city were married in Michigan. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Young, N. Cedar st. Charles Burwhistle and Miss Marie Dunkleberger were married recently.
