FOUR DEAD RESULT OF POWDER BLAST
SCR ANTON. Pa.. Dec. 2 2. Four men are known to be dead as 'i result of an explosion in packlnp mill No. 2 of th Dupont power works at Moosic, seven miles from Scranton today. The dead are: Samuel IJowen. Fdward Croone. Calv.n Fhotwell. One unidentified. The explosion shook the central part of Scranton. All telephone communication with Moosic was broken by the blast. Some idea of the force of the explosion could be pained by the fact that tne Jar violently shook the central portion of Scranton, rattling windows. Relief workers went to the Sv-ene in automobiles.
