Hun enpin and trace this aloncr until the leak is discovered. If wire runs through a tube connect another wire from distributer to plug.

beginning: the company has grown to the point where in 1920 the annual output was 960 Ford cars. Is Incorporated. In view of the growth of the company it has been incorporated and now la known aa W. It has been decided to issue $150,000 of eltfht percent preferred stock. Motor Department: I have a Ford car with starter an-1 generator. There are two ?harp tapping sounds on cylinders 3-4 when engine is run low. On 1-2 cylinders th -ound I.ko light it can hardly be heard. T presume these are valves. Which Is the correct sound. How can I regulate to bring all equal sounding. Cylinders have good ccmpression. Fpark good. The reports from muffler when running low aro not always regular, two d'scharges. occasionally more of a sputter coming close together, and on speeding up ther Js at times a Flight jerky motion when pulling. The tapping noise may bo caused uy worn parts such as ride slap in the valve lifter, too much clearance between valve and valve push red or flat spot on valve lifter where the cam hits. Installation of new part will remedy the trouble. You can purchn.ee special Ford valve fittings to reduce the clearance, but care mtiit be taken not to reduce this clearance too much. Follow instructions of th Ford Manual. One or more of the colls may be defective or out of adjustment. This will cause the lrregu'ar firing Try other coil. Your battery should register more than 1223. Have it charged at a service station and then note results.
