Weekly Shopping Event h Moved Forward Thanksgiving Week. Interurban day, the weekly shopping day designed for the hpeclal convenience of out-of-town folks, will bo' celebrated next week on Wednesday, according to the announcement of the South Hend Merchants' bureau today, through the manager. Ilobert M. Snyder. The reason for the chanpe in dates is that Thanksgiving talis on Thursday. he regular weekly shopping day featured by practically all of the South Iiend merchants. As shopping would naturally be particularly heavy Just before an important holiday like Thanksgiving in stores of every type, merchant. look upon the hange of dates as vastly important. Every effort will be put forth by them to acquaint residents of this yection with the change in dates. Practically all of the stores will be cdosed throughout the day Thanksgiving, and next Wednesday is exp cted to be an unprecedented business day as a result of the change in Interurban day plans. The following announcement was made Friday morning in reference to the change of date of Interurban day: "Inasmuch af Thanksgiving day falls on Thursday, November 2 3th, Interurban day for the week will be observed on Wednesday.
