Renewed interest marks the resumption of activities of the local I-atrue of Women Voters which for the period of the political campaifrn dispensed with all league work, that its members mifrht devote time to the partisan l.sues of the, campaign. Following the ratification of the 19th amendment which granted suffrage to the women of the country, the various suffrage organizations amalgamated to form the league of Women Voters, an institution whoso purposes are twofold, first to foster ducation in citizenship and, second to suport improved legislation. Pelieving that the ballot alone Is not an entirely satisfactory means for securing constructive legislation, the league provides a channel through which the women may worn for the measures they desire. In order to establish a systematic

lccide to wait until vu meet a man worth marrying, and some one you love. Yes. love! It i- old fashioned. I know, but I believe the old fashion of loving is a good one. Marrying for a home, for more freedom. for wraith or j'-k-t to Do in the fashion, all these are common enough, and it may be that is one reason why the divorce court is so often in the picture of modern life.
