ALE

The actual saving that you can make on your suit or overcoat by buying now amounts to the profit we ordinarily make on the sale of one of these garments. We are simply selling at cost in order to get out of our stock the money we actually put into it and our customers are the ones who benefit. Those who have already bought during our sale have considered it a rare opportunity to get Ardmore suits and overcoats at the exceptionally low prices at which we are selling them. Ardmore clothes are the clothes that are so popular among high school and college students and young men, in general, who dress well. They are tailored to the very latest fashion; they are wrell-tailored and, above all, they have the wearing qualities that men are demanding in the clothes they buy.

a gas plant on the north side of Berlin establishing a soviet there, police reported. Follow Italian Plan. The seizure of the metal factories was evidently carried out by the workers in emulation of the Italian strikers who captured and held plants in Italy during the recent labor disturbance there. This was the first Instance of ans'thing of the kind in Germany and the government immediately rushed measures for meeting the new menace. Police reserves and detachments of troops were held in readiness for action in event that the shutting of the factories should result in fighting.

Why Furniture

steadied first

66

As we all know, merchandise of all kinds has been selling at a reduced price, but furniture steadied first because it deserved to. Compared with other commodities the proportionate advance was very small. Another reason is that there is a natural and an unusually good DEMAND for furniture. Ever since the war (and particularly since the nation is sober) people have rapidly been becoming educated to the value of a properly-furnished home. The beautiful settings we see in many moving picture scenes have also helped to create a demand for good furniture. The women's magazines formerly told the ladies how to dress NOW they are also told about proper home furnishings. Appreciation of the value of good furniture in helping to create the proper home environment for children, has also had its effect. In many lines we are able to sell at somewhat lower prices. Possibly the things you have in mind buying are lower now. At any rate it will pay you to come in to see. As you know, you are always welcome to look around in Heller's.
