Board of Work? Blames Property Owners for Present Conditions.
With the payment of miscellaneous 1 ills amounting to approximately $?,00"' by the city controller Wednesday afternoon the board cf wcrks ha completed payment cf strfet repair work since last July. At present, however, the board member admit that many stru ts are in a deplorable state for lark of repairing. This conditicn on streets is said to be due in rart to the fact that th street car company is unable to pay for its share o the repair work, according to a member of the board of works and further that property owners are unwilling to pay for resurfacing at the rrescnt time.
