-FOR Prosecuting Attorney For the Following Reasons, to-wit: 1. We know him to be an able, efficient and conscien:ious attorney. 2. We know him to be possessed of high ideals, and a high sense of moral responsibility. 3. Whenth is country needed volunteers during the Span-tsh-American war, he was among the first to go and fight in Zuba. 4. When our country again required soldiers during the .vorld war, although above the draft age and entitled to exemption because of a dependent wns and child, he neverheless was among the first to volunteer. His service was lecepted by the government and he was offered a captaincy n the judge advocate general's office for non-combative lervicc. He rejected this offer, went to France and Belgium tnd fought at the front. He actually went over the top and isked his life many times in the service of his country. The people of St. Joseph county were glad for that service. Does fairness not require that Mr. Jellison's offer to serve is Prosecuting Attorney be accepted as willingly? ;5. For these and other reasons, we feel it to be our duty o support him and to recommend him for your considera-ion.
