Richard Iavis and Jo.sehine Doran who were the monarch of the evening wre voted the most popular students In the school. School pongs preceded the (lass stunts. The Freshman fttunt was a precession of the Kates ratifying Woman's suffrage and was folb'w-ed by the Senior stunt which w.m .1 clever take-off of "Chu-'hln-choAv." 1'speclall- clever was the sng "I Love You So," from the play by Ixis Walters and Irvin Hurwich. The Soihomore stunt, thoutrh clever In itself, wa.s rather drawnotit. Perhaps th? most original of th stunts was that of the Junior class which was the last on th. program. The scene represented a graveyard with ghostly figures n'.teping beside the tombstones labeled "school pep.' After vain effort of all the classes to awaken pep. the spirit of the Junior class, Jean Smeade, arousd the slumbering figures. A society cake walk by the representatives of the classes, a banket

HE Ris Company, since the inception of their business in vour citv. have made it a cardinal orincinle to take

on no line of merchandise until they had satisfied themselves fully that it was the best obtainable of its

xmd. Your endorsement of this principle has found expression in the growth, development and expan

sion of this business.

ONSISTENT with this practice, for two years and more we have refused to take on the sale of Pipeless heating systems. Hardly a month went by but what a foundry representative of one of these types of heating business of heating homes via the Pipeless furnace, business of heating hove, via, the Pipeless furnace.

During that period the nationally known Round Oak Pipeless heating system was sold right here in our city from the Round Oak offices on No. HVi South Main Street. There are hundreds of Round Oaks rendering unusual service throughout our city.

HEN the Beckwith Company, Dowagiac, Michigan, manufacturers of Round Oaks, decided to discontinue this office, they approached the Ries Company with regard to handling this exclusive sales agency and Mr. Ries made a trip of inspection to the factory examined the product through its stages of construction.

from the pig iron yard to the warehouse carefully investigated the merchandising co-operation satisfied himself not only that the product was the last word in service and satisfaction, but that the Round Oak guarantee would stand behind it permanently. Then he gave the "go ahead" signal. Within a few hours a very large shipment of this merchandise was on the way. It has arrived at the very period of year when hundreds of home owners in South Bend face the bleak, cold Winter with inefficient heating systemsmany of them with stoves.

HE Ries Company want them to know that the comfort, health and well-being of their family DEMANDS a modern heating system like the Round Oak that a genuine Round Oak Pipeless Heating system is obtainable at terms that will not materially interfere with their money plans that they are buying it at the

lowest possible investment that it adds to the value of their property more than the amount invested in its purchase.

HEN they have the comforting knowledge that when they contract for a Round Oak Pipeless H eating System, those who are near and dear to them will be safeguarded with regard to their comfort, not only this Winter, but for the next generation, we are sure they will endorse this adding of the Round Oak Heating Depart

ment by Tbe Ries Company.

E invite your thoughtful reading of the series of ads that will appear over our signature, merchandising these heating systems. We shall have with us, for the next ten days, two trained heating engineers direct from the Round Oak Engineering Department, who will gladly assist in the solving of your particular heating

problems. V. ill you permit us to serve you?
