Service for Soitl Bead
If you have ever attempted to leave South Bend with the expectation of arriving in Detroit the following morning, you know the difficulties you have encountered. It has been an impossibility to make this trip comfortably, that is, getting a good night s rest and arriving in Detroit fresh and fit for the dav's business. The officials of the New Jersey, Indiana and Illinois Railroad believe that in announcing through Pullman car service from Detroit to South Bend they are rendering a real service to the traveling public. Beginning on the night of October I 5th and every night thereafter, a solid steel Pullman sleeping car will be placed at the N. J. I. ck I. terminal, l 508 West Division St., ready for occupancy at 9 P. M. This car will leave at I A. M., arriving in Detroit the same morning at 7:50 A. M.
