THE coming to S'uth Bend of the Scotti Grand Opera Company next Monday night means that this city to see and hear the greatest touring operatic organization in America. With Antonio Scotti, the famous baritone, will appear over one hundred artists, in the chorus, orchestra, etc., from the great Metropolitan Opera house in New York. It is an opportunitj- to hear the two metropolitan favorites. L'Oracolo and Paglacci, given exactly as they are sung on the stage of the Metropolitan Opera house, with practically thr. identical casts. The company arrives in South Bend in their special train of twelve Pullmans early Monday morning. The Coliseum stage has been entirely rebuilt with an enlarged 3tage, and with new equipment, to handlr the large amount of scenery and electrical effects used for the opera3. South Bend hears the Scotti company because it was necessary to break a jump between Milwaukee and New York, and because Mr. Sam Pickering went after it for South Bend, to the extent of spending hundrds of dollars in rebuilding the Coliseum. The tragedy of such an enterprise as this is that usually, after the company has come and gone, people begin to realize what they have missed. Not to hear the Scotti Grand Opera company next Monday night is to miss an opportunity that perhaps will never come again to this city, as no organization of this size could play in a smaller place than our temporary coliseum. South Bend's first real Grand Opera day will be next Monday, September 1 3th. Seats are now selling at the box office of the Oliver Theater.

the famous Baritone Will sing at The Coliseum, September 1 3th . To hear Antonio Scotti is a privilege and an opportunity which every music lover will want to embrace. It presents the unique opportunity of a direct personal observation of his remarkably beautiful voice for comparative consideration with his historic Victor Records. Attend the concert and hear the wonderful voice of this great Italian baritone, being particularly careful to observe the individual characteristics that so plainly identify the Scotti voice. Then come in and hear the Victor Records
by Scotti. You will be instantly convinced that on the Victrola his art and personality are brought to you with unerring truth. It is this absolute fidelity that emphasizes the supremacy of the Victrola, so firmly established on a basis of great things actually accomplished; a supremacy readily recognized and acknowledged by the world's greatest artists who make records for the Victor.
There are Victrolas in great variety of styles. We'll gladly demonstrate them at any time, and tell you about our easy terms.
