Howard Hagedorn. the local representative of the Harley-David-son motorcycles, is at the factory at Milwaukee, Wis., securing new machines and professional riders for the motorcycle race meet to be held at Springbrook par'c, Sunday, Aug. S. Not only will this factory be represented but expert riders of Ineliana, from Springfield. Mass., and Henderso nand Excelsior racers, from Chicago, will be present. The Johnson motorwheel factory' of this city, will have a number of fast machines in one contest and side-ear racers from the east are coming to compete for tho prize money. This is the third event of the kind this season at Springbrook park and the attendance has increased each time, for the thrills and excitement of mile-a-ininute racing on a half-mile track have not been equalled in any other spurting event held in South Rend.
