to Aid of Fort Wavne on Project. South F.end Wednesday, through the Chamber of Commerce, give its suppor to Fort Wayne in the efforts of that city to obtain the passage of a law by the general assembly now in srecial se.sion to -nable municipalities to purchase or lease suitable ground for the operation of avition fields There is a bill now pending before the general assembly, making it possible for cities to lease round for such purposes. Fort Wayne has recently been placed upon the air mail route. That city is sending a delega
tion of members of the American legion to Indianapolis in support of the bill. Wednesday the South P.end Chamber of Commerce received a telegram from the chamber at Fort Wayne asking the support of the measure by the South Hend chamber. Immediately tho following telegram was sent to Gov. James P. Goodrich and St. Joseph county' representatives in both houses of the general assembly : "We urge passage of Alden bill enabling Indiana cities le ase j ower to maintain aviation landing fields.
