John and Floyd Flowers. 16' and 17 years obi, respectively, were lined J 2 5 and costs each nnd sentenced to ser-e 90 days at the penal farm, on a charge of petit larceny preferred by W. J. Kronewitter. The boys broke into a boathouse belonging U
ICronewitter and stole about $-''1 worth of tishing tackle, part of which
the police recovered and part of which the boys threw into the river. Judge Feig gave the boys a severe lecture and told them that he would give them a chance to reform and become decent citizens, and he would suspend their fine and penal farm sentences during their good behavior. The case of the State vs. Kenneth Gerard was dismissed. The evidence introduced at the trial several days ago showed that Gerard had nothing to do with stealing a machine from the Mishawaka Dairy Co., but had only taken a ride in the auto on the invitation of Wardlow, the boy who is alleged to have
taken the truck. Henry Coppens paid a fine of $5 and costs on a charge of speeding. Walter C. Jacobs, who, when arrested, gave the name of W. C. Walters, entered a plea of guilty to speeding and paid a fine of $1 and costs.
