Chickens were scarce and brought ?öc per pound live, and 4Jc per pound dressed. Live eese were sold fcj 20c per pound. Currants brought 30c per box. Country butter was sold for 0c per pound and cottage cheese 20c per pint. Potatoes were sold for $1.20 per peck. Teas went for 15 and 16c per pound while beans- called for 25c per pound. Mullberries, fresh from the buh. sold for 20c per box.

SKEES GETS WEDAL FOR MA RKMAISSH IP

In order to be eligible for this medal, the soldier must be on aame one of the rational rifle teams for three times. Sergt. Skees was on the Infantry rifle team in 1906 and in 1907, and one year more recently. He is to get a medal for each of the years he was on the rifle teams, but theee are to be infantry' rifle team medals of gold.

All of the persons arrested in the raid last week In an immoral resort, pleaded guilty in police court Saturday morning. Each one. except Ituth Palmer, was fined $5 and costs. The Palmer woman admitted to Judtre Gilmer that &he had been convicted on an inmate charge here about two years ago. Her fine was $10 and copts with a warning that t-hould phe 3gain appear before the court she should be sent to lall.
