Dps ite the fact that F-.iminy Marks, premier hurler of the lioosier Cream baseball team announced Saturday nUht that he had jumped the t-arn and from now on would be reen in the uniform of the St. Joseph club. Manager Cross of the Hoosier Creams announced that he had a dark horse who would fiirn ish opposition so stiff that M.ark3 would bo unablp to make the grade when the two teams meet. The Hoosiers and the St. Joe club meet at 2:'0 o'clock this afternoon at Casaday held where one of the most bitter baseball struggles seen here in many a day is expected to take place. Already there have been numerous wagers as to the outcome of the contest, and baseball fans of the west side will pack the field to see the game. liulcfoatcd. The Hoosier Creams have an unbroken j.trin:r of victories to their credit and players declare they will still have it when the game is over this afternoon.
