INDIANA ARCHITECTS TO HOLD CONVENTION
Housing conditions throughout Indiana will be one of the main topic for discussion at the annual convention of the Society of Indiana Architects which will ! held in Indianapolis Saturday, June t. Architects from all parts of the btate are expected to attend the m sion and an Invitation has been extended to the Indiana Iiuilding Contractors of Indiana to tend a delegates to the conference. If conditions permit, several South Hend architects have expressed plans to attend the session. The date was originally set for June 22 but a change was necessary when it was found that it conflicted with other events.
SPECIAL HOURS FOR REVENUE OFFICES
For the benefit of those who have not yet 'paid the second installment on their Income tax the local internal revenue office will remain open until 6 p. m. Tuesday, which Is the last day on which such payments will be permitted. Failure to pay the second installment by June 15, according to the law, automatically adds a penalty tax of live percent to the second installment, and removes the partial payment privilege, making the entire tax Lalunce due at once.
LOCAL WOMEN TO ATTEND CONFERENCE
Among the local women who will attend the biennial convention of tho national federation of clubs to be held at DesMoines. Ia., June 16 to 2 3, are Mrs. Fred Woodward. Mrs, I-;. G. Kettrlng. Mrs. K. C. DeKhodes and Mrs. Richard Elbe!. Mrs. Woodward, Mrs. Kettring and Mrs. DeRhodes go as delegates from 'the Progros club, and Mrs. Elbel. secretary of the 13th district federation, will represent her district at the convention.

GIRLS ATTEND SCHOOL PICNIC
More than 170 girls, students of group A in the city's part time schools, enjoyed a picnic at Pottawatomie park Monday afternoon as tho guests of their employers. Festivities began at 2 o'clock and continued throughout ' the afternoon, games and contests consuming the early part of the program, with a picnic supper as a climax shortly before 6 o'clock.
