Officials of the state chamber of commerce will bo In South Bend Wednesday to confer with shippers of this city regarding a hearing to be, held before tho interstate commerce commission at Indianapolis June 22 in which discrimination In freight rates between Indiana cities and points in the northwest. The officials of the state organization will meet the shippers at the Oliver hotel at 7:30 Wednesday night. The coming hearing before th interstate commerce commission will be the subject of discussion at the meeting.

His father. Prof. Deloa Fall of Albion, (Mich.) college, arrived in South IJend Tuesday afternoon, leaving the young man's mother, Mrs. Fall, also seriously ill In Albion. Mr. Fall has been with Tho News-Times since 1914, except for the time that he spent in the United States navy during the war, in which capacity he crossed the Atlantic 18 times in the transportation of troops. Ho has been at tho hospital since last Wednesday.
