The Consolidated Mica Co. produces Crude Mica from its mines in Alabama and ships it to its factory in South Bend, Indiana, where it is dried, split, cut to size and manufactured into the various products for commercial use; chief of which is insulating material used by the Electrical Manufacturers. An allotment of the Preferred Stock is now being sold at par, $10.00. The Preferred Stock votes equally with the Common, thereby giving every stockholder a Voice in the Management. The proceeds of this issue are to be used for. actual production of Crude Mica and for the purchase and installation, in the factory of the necessary machinery for the manufacture of the finished product. The principle market for Mica products is the Electrical industry. Mica is as much needed in this industry as copper and iron. Electrical manufacturers have for several years been seriously handicapped because of the insufficient supply of Mica. The profits on Mica are enormous and are made the subject of special discussion in a pamphlet of information which will be furnished on request. The men who have organized the Consolidated Mica Co. are men of proven business ability and unquestioned integrity. These men will continue in control of the activities of the Company. The factory operations will be under the direction of experienced and practical men, the most capable it is possible to obtain.
