DETECTIVE'S ILLNESS CAUSES DELAY IN LIQUOR TRIAL Illness of Detective Mclntyre prevented the trial in city court Friday morning of Cyril Van Stenkiste, charged with the unlawful possession of liquor for sale. Detective Moritz and Mclntyre made the arrest of Van Stenkiste. but the illness of Det-ctive Mclntyre caused the case to be continued until the detective is able to appear.

Assistance Is to be given the South Pend Symphony orchestra in finding a suitable place in which to give its proposed series of concerts during the coming winter. The assistance Is to come from a committee from the orchestral association consisting of Frederick Ingt rsoll. Miss Virgir-3 Tutt and Mrs. TZ. J. Cady who will meet with a committee of business men appointed by the Chamber of Commerce. Pome C. Stephenson. Fred Pryan and J. J. O'Brien compose that committee and they will begin at enert assisting the orchestral association in obtaining a suitable place in which to hold the concerts.
