Pugilists Gel Little Sympathy in Court Men who fight do not get very tauch sympathy from Judge Gilmer, and thoao who fight and do not work do not pet any of the sympathy of the city Judge. Carl Dunham demonstrated Saturday night that he is a good fighter, but he was unable in city court Tuesday morning to convince Judge Gilmer that he la a worker. On tho contrary. Judge Gilmer decided that 30 days at the state penal farm would be beneficial to Dunham. Several witnesses testified that Vassar Le Count of the Main bt. pool room waj severely beaten by Dunham Saturday night when he asked him If he had money enough to pay for the pool game he was playing. 'Witnesses say that Dunham answered Lc Count by hitting him over the head wt'h a pool cue, and then struck him several times.

The court fined Dunham 53 and

cocts in addition to sentencing him to tho penal farm after Probation Ofacer Larry I-ano had submitted fk report on Dunham's record here as a non-worker.
