We have no connection whatever with any other firm, company, or organization of similar name selling stock, Wc do not deal in stock, cither preferred or common. We will continue, now as in the past, to underwrite and offer only first mortgage bonds of unimpeachable safety. These facts we desire to emphasize because the public announcements of a house of similar name might give the erroneous impression that wc have deviated from our policy of dealing only in the highest type of investment security the first mortgage bond, safeguarded under the Straus Plan. The fact that our method and plans have been widely imitated is evidence of the soundness of the principles wc have followed and clearly indicates the place which this institution occupies in the financial life of the nation

NEBRASKA AND GEORGIA ENDORSE PRES'T WILSON'S REGIME IN PRIMARIES
HY HAROLD D. JACOBS. Ily Puited Fresa: NKW YORK', April 21. Out. standing results of Tuesday's primaries in Nebraska and Georgia, according to incomplete returns today were: Apparent endorsement of Pres't Wilson's administration in both states. Seeming repudiation of William Jennings Rryan's leadership in Nebraska. Son. Hiram Johnson's apparent victory over Maj. Gen. leonanl Wood and Oen. John J. Pershliv? in the Nebraska republican primary. Some political observers also professed to see a "wet" victory in Sen. Gilbert M. Hitchcock's seeming defeat of Rryan. inasmuch as the Nebraska senator favors "light wines and beer" and Bryan has long been one of the leading "drys." An interesting side-light was presented by Nebraska in the peace treaty and Ieague of Nations situation. Should Hitchcock's lead bo sustained by complete returns, the democrats in that state will have endorscd Wilson's stand on the treatv and league, since Hitchcock was th.administration leader in the treaty fight on the senate floor. Bran openly opposed the president's uncompromising attitude. At the same time Nebraska republicans should Johnson maintain his lead will have indirectly opposed the league even In principle, since that Is the avowed stand of tho California senator. i GcMA convention and naming three others as his team-mates. Hitchcock sought the endorsement of the; presidential nomination and named a slate for the "big four" to oppose Rryan and his three followers. In Georgia, meager returns showed Atty. Gen. A. Mitchell Palmer leading Thomas K. Watson, former congressman, and Sen. Hoke Smith for the democratic endorsement. Palmer made his campaign light on the platform of unqualified endorsement of the Wilson government. Delaware's six delegates to the republican national convention were unpledged at yesterday's sTnte meeting but opponents practically concede them to Wood. MOVIES REPEATED FRIDAY. By urgent request ,the orpheum theater will show the South Bend movies, the pictures taken on the Orpheum stage by Fred Wagner week of March 30 last year. Many South Ben3 people participated in these comedy scenes and there has been quite a demand to have them I hown again.
