Ever Given in City. Tno international concert, directed by Mrs. Roman Kuch marshy and givv-n in the high school auditorium last night under the auspices of tiie Mishawaka Woman's club, was in every respect one of the greatest successes from every standi aunt ever attempt.! in the city. The program was a most ambitious on.-, and entailed touch hard work on th- part of the ;;cij participants, but so hearty was tho cooperation, so enthusiastic - the performers, and so worthy the object aimed at, that the entire numbers went off with a smoothness seldom seen in sdrictly amateur entertainments. Th auditorium was crowded to capacity, and every ticket ha.s been sohl for toniirht when the program will bo repeated. It is quite probable that a third performance will be necessary to meet the demands ef those anxious to witness the performance. The , hrst tableau representing American history was directed by Miss Jeannie Terry. The landing of CrdumbuF. Colonial reriod, Civil war period. Spanish war. World war and A 'm'stice day were the features of tl.es. living pictures which fairly breathed the spirit of the e-nts deploted. Miss Rathel Willemyns, in her representation of Franco, rendered a pleasing vocal solo. The Russian basket dance was one )f the prettiest and most effective on the program, and was enhanced by the various colored light thrown on the dancers vho:e costumes were particularly attractive. The girls participating, in this number were: Marjorie Ostrom. Vera Hatfield. Juli Roy. Odetta Hemphill, Marian Swcitzer, Rloise Parker, ilmily Finch and Mary Iiy.-r. Relsium, under the direction of Louis Rraekaelaere, had a splendbl I art. The folk songs and dances were entered into with a spirit which showed not the slightest effects ef restraint, and with an abandon which was as natural as it was wholesome. Frank Moraschi was in charge of the Italian part of the program which included vocal and instrumental music and dancing, a me lange pe culiar to the sons and daughters of sunny, Italy. Alice I'.aker, Josephine Chandler, Rernioe Robbins and Ida Prothero danced an Irish ji? and were warmly applauded. Rritain was represented by an ec llent piart t I consisting of F. R. Coats. A. R.
