ARRESTED AS RESULT OF STEALING MILK; , RELEASED ON BONDS

V.liat three young people thought to bo a Joke turned out to be serious and resulted In the arrest of Thelma Nik-art. 16 years old, 202 Lincoln way W.f Mishawaka; Charles Short and Harris Davis, Is years old, South IJend. Saturday. They were arrested at 2 o'clock in the morning whlli stealing milk bottles from the porches of homes in the 400 block. Lincoln way V. Ueforo City Judge Feig, tho boys entered pleas of guilty to petit larceny. They wero given a sever lecture by the Judge, who impressed them with the seriousness of tho crime. Ho took tho case under ndvi.sement and released them on a $50 bond each for their appearance In court next Saturday, when hontence will bo pronounced. The youthful trio was riding in a Studebaker touring car on Lincoln way and stopped at the porches gathering up the filled milk bottles which had been left by tho Mishawaka Dairy company. They had three quarts and five pints when arretted. Tho nmdavit filed against them charged them with stealing one pint of milk from the home of Carl Burk et.
