High School Notes The boys and pirls Klee club met Wednesday afternoon in the musio room, of the hiirh school o review sorn; old pons and to bein work on several new selections. Plans for a picnic, to bo held at Berrien Springs, are beincr made by the glee club and participants of the operetta. "The Five Present," presented lately before the hilrh school. An important senior mee ting will be held Monday afternoon in tho boys' study hall to discuss a senior hike and make the final plans for tho junior-senior prom to be held in the near future. Members of tho physical training nml esthetic dancing classes will present their annual gymnasium exhibition on May '22. Work has be('un upon the drills and the esthetic dancing numbers. Mrs. Loren Jones addressed tho girls of tho huh school Thursday afternoon on the subject of "What Is Your Ideal Girl?" Mr. Jones will speak to the boys of the school on Friday afternoon after school. The Latin club of the high school is planning a social meeting of tho club to bo held Friday afternoon from four until seven o'clock, including a banquet. MUs Hilda Raeby, president of the club will act as toastmistres-s of the occasion. The banquet is to be followed by games and dancing. Mis-; Minnie Adams will bo the guest of honor. CL1MC AT WALKERTON SCHOOL Forty-four persons were examined fit tho tuberculosis Clinic helJ Wednesday at the Walkerton school house. This was the third of a series of clinics which are being lo ld throughout the county, tho tirst being held at LukeviUe. and the second nt New Carlisle. Dr. St. C. Darden, superintendent of Healthwin. conducted the clinic and was assisted by Miss Florence Sace, county Bed Cross nurse, and Drs, W. F. Miranda and S. P. Tracy of Walkerton. These clinics have been unusually successful and local physicians have cooperated splendidly realizing the need for such work being done in order to get in contact with tuberculosis cases while they are in the Incipient stage and can be cared for.
