FREIGHT EMBARGO IS BEIXG FELT IX CITY
The railway freight embargo which went into effect in Mishawaka Saturday last is beginning to have its effect on business. Although so mo representatives of wholesale houses are, continuing their visits, they are not accepting any orders owing to the prevailing railway conditions. At the New York Central freight sheds, business is at a standstill. The e .press company is still taking parcel? to certain points on Its system, but none to Cleveland or east of that city.
ARMY AND NAVY UNION M KITTS. Herbert Porer resigned as commander of the Orra L. Snyder garrison, Army and Navy union, at a meeting held Monday evening. The resignation was accepted and a special meeting will be held Monday, at which another commander will be appointed. Arrangements wero made to take part in tho International concert to be given at tho high school auditorium April 20 and 21.
HOMTJK WIITTE. Homer II., the three days old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence White, 539 1-2 E. Fourth st.. died Monday night at 11 o'clock. The funeral services were held Tuesdav afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial was in the city cemetery.
