This organization is always on the alert and constantly in touch with every market movement. As an example of this feature we quote the achievement of this buying power in the face of the present market conditions: Manufacturers, anticipating a tremendous early spring season on account of early Easter date, made up thousands and thousands of garments for immediate delivery, but the continued cold weather retarded retail buying to such an extent that these manufacturers in the past week were forced to sacrifice, in many instances at a loss, to convert immense stocks into needed cash at once. Right here is where our buyers were on the job, and the result is that we now own thousands of dollars' worth of the highest grade type of ready-to-wear apparel for women at one-third to one-half less than the actual worth of this merchandise, and which we will distribute to the buying public at proportionate discounts. Never in history has such a condition existed at the beginning of a season, and it means that you can buy wanted Easter apparel at the Milady Shop at prices far lower than elsewhere.
