MASTER BARBERS SAY THERE'LL BE NO RAISE ON HAIRCUTS
"To be or not to be." 51. Klmer Doddridge, owner of the Doddridge s-hop, and spokesman for the master barbers of the city says that 50 cents for a haircut meets the approval of the shop owners and that at least for sometime thero will probably be no increase in the price. Michael S. Warren of Cleveland. O., ortra-nizer of the Journeymen Harbers' International Union of America, who is here to organize South Hend Journeymen barbers says that the coit of haircuts will soar to $.1. The organizer say? that since- th" recent increase in rrie of haircuts from 4 0 to 50 cents went into effect, many patrons cut down their expenditures, and that witxin a few months the haircut prb'o would soar to double what it now is. Mr. Doddridge disagrees with the organizer. Tie speaks for barbershop owners who se no cause for a further increase in the cost of haircuts.
