Christ manifest In the servica cf Peter and John. Lesson 1. Peter Preaches at Pentacost (Acts 2). Peter proves that Jesus Christ arose from the dead, ascended on high axid poured forth the Holy Spirit upon the church; the evidence of it was the unusual behavior of the dieiciples. Lesson 2. Peter and John Ileal a Lame Man (Acts C). This remarkable miracle wrought In the name of Jesus Chrift proved that though the Jews had cruclrled him, he was now alive and continued his work through the disciples. Lesson Z. Peter and John Witnessing; of the Risen Christ Before the fiinhedrin (Acts 4). As a result the Sanhedrin took knowledge that they had been with Jesus, that K his life and work were being reproduced In and through them. Beins with Christ will: 1. Give an experimental knowledge of him. so that the life will remind one of Jesus. 2. Take away the fear of man. Peter, who a little while ago quailed before a Jewish maid, is undaunted before tho august sanhedrin. 3. Open a man's Hps. Peter said: "We can zz

not but speak the things which we have seen and heard." What the heart feels, the mouth must speak out. Lespon 4. The Risen Christ Vindicating: His Church (Acts 1:5-16). He passed judgment upon Ananias and Sarphira for their hypocritical pretense of generosity. The living- Christ knows the intents of the heart! nothing can be concealed from him. Lesson 5. The Living Christ Saving Men and Women in Samaria (Acts 8:1-25. His sanction of the preaching of the Gospel by Philip In Samaria is shown by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Peter and John were snt by tho mother church to cor.flrm the work. Lesson 6. The Living Christ Healing the Sick and Raising the Dead (Acts 9:22-43). That Christ is alive is proved by the vanquishing of the dreadful malady of palsy and the retenanting of a corpse by the departed soul. Nothing like this had been known since the days of Christ. Lesson 7. The Risen Christ Revealing Himself to a Gentile (Acts 10). Peter testilles to Cornelius that

Electric Washin:

Have Stirred the Whole City to Action

Last Friday, in a full page announcement in this paper, we suggested to the women of South Bend and surrounding tenitory the necessity for immediate action in order to get an APEX electric washer. All day Saturday our salesroom at 123 North Main street was literally packed with people desirous of having the APEX demonstrated in their homes Monday. Could we but supply the demand, half the clothes in town would be washed clean and white with the help of the APEX tomorrow. The APEX is made right and priced right. A decade ago tho APEX was in the stages of experimentation and introduction. Its phenomenal success encouraged dozens of manufacturers to rush an electric washer on the market and today one is confronted by appeals on every hand. Some are good; some not so good. Most of them are in the expensive experimental period with the cost of introduction added to the machine while the APEX has attained such national popularity that it is sold on a close margin of quality production. This experience this costly experimentation are not charged to the APEX buyer. In the APEX you pay for material and labor only and therein lies the explanation of why the APEX is the best washing machine in the world at any price. While other manufacturers and dealers boast of immediate delivery, we can only apologize for an inadequate supply. While other concerns tell of hundreds of users who have been sold their product, we must be content with the knowledge that every APEX that has been placed in service is dutifully and everlastingly on the job, and that every APEX user is a lifetime friend. We're "burning the wires," pleading using every effort to get more APEX washers for South Bend and Mishawaka. We pledge ourselves to do our utmost to insure that YOU also have the best electric washer in your home. So phone for free demonstration. The task of supplying the APEX to do the work we'll shoulder. After all, it is only human to want the BEST.
