Coinciding with the spring fashion displays m the stores Is the opening f th Oliver Style Shop in the Oliver hotel building, a shop to be devoted exclusively to blouses, lingerie, hosiery and boudoir accessories. The room occupied by tho shop has been redecorated, blue hangings and rugs, ivory tittlngs, and mahogany woodwork adding to its attractiveness. The blouses displayed at the opening Thursday afternoon ranged from strictly tailored models to elaborate tricolette and mignonette overblouses, one being adorned v.'ith hand-painted buttons. One blouse which attracted much attention was an Elsie Janis blouse of cartridge cloth, material used by the government during the war. The one shown was pink in color, embroidery trimmed. Another blouse much admired was a novelty Japanese one. The hhop is to make a specialty of complete boudoir sets nnd trousseau outfits. A gown of yellow and burnt orange on display could be matched with a teddy bear combination, cap, mules, garters, hosiery, etc. Deep colors are much shown in lingerie, the favored flesh and white having given way to yellow, green, orchid and a variety of bright colors. W. H. Stein, manager of the shop, has arranged a number of conveniences for his feminine patrons including a reception room with accommodations for letter writing:, a. telephone service and an entrance from the hotel lobby.

CKI THE! ; SENT TO .I.UU Arthur Hutler, a cripple was arraigned in the city court Thursday morning on a charge with being drunk. He pleaded guilty but asked th- court for leniency. After it was foutid that this was his second offense in two weeks the court fined him $1 and costs. Ho expressed a willingness to "lay out" the fine rather than pay it. His wish will be complied with.

Continue Case of Alleged Highway Robber The trial of Martin Jagla. charged with robbery, was continued by Special Judge Eli K. Seebirt in circuit court Thursday because rf the failure of arrival of one witness in the case. Proceedings were set for next Tuesday at which time both the state and defense stated th y would be ready for trial. Glen McDonald and Clyde Yant. highway robbers recently sen: to the state reformatory from the superior court. arrived Wedn-sdav evening and were ready to tstifv in the trial. They will remain iu the custody of the sheriff while the trial Ls pending and will be returned after proceedings are closed. Although Jagla's attorney v.oukl make no statement, it was rumored among those present in the court room that McDonald and Yant were gotn to admit they committed the robbery of which Jagla is charged.
