Kizer is said to have ran into the heril while driving at a high rate of speed and struck one cow. Tho leg of the cow was broken ar.d it was necessary later to shoot her. Tho -ow was of a registered b.eod and valued by the owners at 1300.

FIX BOND IN CASE OF MARTIN JAGLA Martin Jagla, who mysteriously escaped from the city jail two weeks ago. will languih longer in the county jail awaiting trial In the circuit eourt on charges of a robbery and grand larceny. So decreed Special Judge George Sands when Jagla appeared in the city court Saturday afternoon to answer to three counts. One charge was dropped whn the prosecution showed a disposition to hold the defendant on two charges. Jagla wa.s held under a $2,000 bond, which according to the latest reports, ho has been unable to raise and from present indications it will be a long, long wait before Jagla again breathes the air of freedom.
