Chief Kline and As?t Chief of Pcllci Cassidy, aa police ofMciala, alao refused to sign an afT.davit against Zimmer and Dambacher, although they refused to turn the 130 cases over to the proeocutor after he himself had tiled affidavits against Zimmer and Dambacher. Shortly before the disappearance of the liquor from the ZlmmerDambacher warehouse, liquor held at police headquarters as videnco asrain-u Barrett had mysteriously changed into sweetened water, and the prosecutor did not want this to happen to the 130 cases taken from the Zlmmer-Pambacher warehouse. In fact, the police resisted every effort of the prosecutor to gain po.sPCHion of the 1 T 0 cases of American Prid. their resistance becoming a part o! the records of two county courts, the ftate appellate court and the state supreme court. An injunction proceedings against the prosecutor t prevent htm from graining possession of the liquor Is now pending In the supreme court. REV.
