We feel it our duty to make a statement concerning conditions existing among the furniture manufacturers throughout the country. There is hardly a factory that is not "sold up" unftl next March and April some of them have sold their product for the entire year of 1920, and contracts are even being made for 1921. No traveling men from the factories have been on the road for months there is nothing for them to do. There is no such a thing as buying furniture or rugs at specific prices. All factories now sell "at prices prevailing at time of shipment." If you read our ads some time ago you will remember what we said about higher prices coming about scarcity of goods. There isn't a chance for lower prices all kinds of chances for higher prices. Our advice is to anticipate even your Spring needs! You can do this by selecting now and leaving a small deposit.

I went through the big Fendrich factor' in Evansvillo the other day biggest in Indiana biggest in the world under ono roof. Saw the stock come in direct from Havana whero their own men pick it out. Saw them aging and mellowing it under real Cuban climatic conditions and roll it by hand into a cigar as fine as you get in the City of Havana at a bigger price.
