Turkeys, ducks, gees and chickens flooded the city mxu-ket Tuesday, plvinpr the housewives a chance to buy their Thanksslvintr meat. Turkeys were finding: a ready market, both dressed and undressed, as were chickens. A larye number of geese were selling, though not po rapidly, and a few ducks were selling moderately. Prices asked for turkeys were around 3 8 cents with ducks at 30 and geese at 28. Undressed chickens wer? selling at about 25 cents. Several farmers who had butchered recently, had fresh meat for sale pr.d these cuts were belnp boupht rapidly by one of the largest crowds that has attended the city market since th first indication of cold weather. Although tho morning was damp, people were out In lanre numbers and by the middle of the morning nearly everything was sold. Hams were Felling at 28 cents and houlders at 27 cents. Besides meats, potatoes, carrots, parsnips and apples were being offered at the market. Apples wer selling at four pounds for 25 cents and at from $2 to $2.10 per bushel. Potatoes were selling around $2.25 per bushel.

ISSUES WARNING TO DRUGGISTS OF STATE
Warning to doctors and druggists that drug addicts are forging prescriptions for variouä narcotics in Indiana, was issued by John Hultz, revenue agent for Indiana, today. Doctors should take carp to mako it impossible for the addicts to steal their prescription blanks or letterheads, and drug&ists should be especially careful to scrutinize all pre-

said. Druggists should be unusually energetic in their efforts to keep from filling forged prescription? because they are held liable by federal laws in case a bogus order is filled. Mr. Hultz added. A number of reports that elru addicts are stealing prescription blanks and letterheads from doctors and then writing out their own orders and forging the physicians' signatures have come to Mr. Hultz.
Claude Illne and Vern Howard, two South Henel men. are being held by the Goshen police after they held up and robbed a Goshen citizen Monday, Chief of Police Kline was notified Tuesday. According to word received from the Goshen police, the two South Pend men entered the bakery of William McCunlg at Goshen, and after holding the proprietor up at the point of a revolver, they robbed him of $35. An hour after the men had committed the robbery, they were captured by the Goshen authorities and are now held in the Goshen jail awaiting trial. The two men masked themselves by tying handkerchiefs over the lower part of their faces.
