Attention is called to the fact that AV.ir Savlnps stamps are not transferable and should be purchased in the name of the recipient.

GREEN BAY RESORT NOT NOTORIOUSLY BAD ONE
Reports current locally back in September, at the time of the disappearance of Virginia ilenson, 712 K. Houth st., that she had relatives connected with a notorious resort near Green IJay, Wis., to which the tri r 1 nilsht have been taken for immoral purposes, as given out by the police. Is declared untrue by members of the family. The only relatives of Miss Ilenson near Creen Hay Is her father, in charge of a hotel at Klmherly, Wis., owned and operated by the Kimberly-Clark Paper Co., which is declared to be a perfectly respectable institution. Accordingly the reports gLen in connection with the uIiTs tllr.ppearance are In that respect unfounded. Miss Ilenson was later found in St. I-u1h, Mo., and returned to South Ilend.

Tim Jones, colored, was arraign" 1 in the city cojrt Friday and his casset for Saturday morning. He was arrested Thursday nipht at his home. r-C4 1-2 S. Scott st . by Otficer Smith on a warrant sworn out r Mallnda Casey charging him with assault and battery with intent to kill. The complainant stated that in an argument Wednesday night he assaulted her with a razor cutting her about the hand and breast, and that the instrument was so sharp she was not aware of the extent of her injuries until afterward, which explained the delay In her complaint.
MEN'S BIBLE CLASS WILL MEET SUNDAY
The Men's Illble class of the Westminster Presbyterian church will held a regular session Sunday morning Nov. 23. Ex-Prosecutor Ralph N. Smith, of LaPorte. will preside. Mr. Smith is an able lawyer, a humorist, an orator and a scholar, and has taught the Men's Hlble class in the Laporte Methodist Episcopal church for 12 years. The public is cordially invited to attend the meeting and near this gifted man.
