VJnrlnla Pearson in 'Iinossiblc strides and struts or runs: where she has been gracious and courteous, she is rude and naughty and rough. Fürthen aoro, she belongs to a society that believes marriage interferes with the "freedom of woman." After Catherine met John Henry Jackson she had nary a minute of precious freedom, for John Henry eloped with her in an aeroplane and tamed her. Elmo Eincoln in "Elmo The Mighty" and the Fox News of Current Events will also bo shown. Tomorrow's lull includes "The Love 'Ik at," a live-reel drama. A pU-asin.g society Melodrama, with "punch" a-plenty, is "A Dangerous Affair," Herbert Ilawlinson's newest starring vehicle, which is presented at the Castle theater today. A sensational kidnapping is one of the story's exciting incidents, with the star playing an important part in the recovery of the victim. Mr. liawlinson has many admirers who will be delighted with his work in this picture. Appearing in the garb of an army oMiccr, he is more handsome than ever, a fact that is of particular interest to the ladies. OLIVER The attraction at the Oliver tonight, will be the first presentation in this city of Cosmo Hamilton's tremendous stage success '"Scandal," which has proven Ihe biggest kind of a success and comes here under the direction of Walter Hast. In "Scandal." author Hamilton proves himself both psychologist ami wit, exposing the wild workings of the girlish mind in the madcap period and writing, out of Iiis happy gift of graceful line, many an apt saying that few others could write as well. Mr. Hast is sending a company of unusual excellence to this city, including Herbert Hanson and Ann Winston in the leading roles. Of all the splendid dramatic roles Louise Claum has had, it is said she has never had a more sympathetic or human part, than that of Mitrnon in "Sahara." the big screen production in which she will be seen at the Oliver theater for three days, starting Sunday.
