Primate of Belgium HE chief churchman of Belgium, a plucky man, a fighter, partly a martyr, because he was old and defenseless while the Germans were millions and thought themselves all-powerful. On the occasion of Cardinal Mercicr's visit to Chicago this week, all religions rendered tribute to the hero of the Belgian people. Thousands paid him homage. Non-Catholics were just as sincere as Catholics in Chicago's welcome to Cardinal Mercicr.

In Commemoration of Cardinal Mercier's Visit The Chicago Herald and Examiner Will Give FREE With Next Sunday's Issue A ' FULL PAGE PORTRAIT of Cardinal Mercier in Beautiful Colors. Suitable for Framing and Preservation.
