All secretaries hae been asked to impress upon such men the fact that unless a certiScate to this eSect has been obtained from the director of the bureau of .var risk insurance, within one year after discharge, compensation for death or disability resulting later will not be paid. The following communication received from national headquarters will interest men who have had their insurance policies reinstated since July 25: "Where insurance policies have
been reinstated on or after July 25, 1919, any amount in excess of the premiums necessary for reinstatement under Treasury Excision 47, of that date will be applied to future payments. The insured may either figure out for himself how many months' credit he is entitled to and stop paying premiums during that period, or. If he desires, he may writ to the Insurance Division of the Bureau of War Risk Insurance and ask them the status of his premium payments and when it w ill be. necessary for him to resume paying."
CAPTAIN ROMINE WILL DELIVER TALK SUNDAY Capt. Otis Romine will speak on Sunday evening at 7 o'clock in the St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal church, on the subject "Experiences in Army Life in the United states and FTance." Capt. Romine spent about two years in the U. S. army and only recently returned from Franc wheie he had some most interesting experiences. The service will be in charge of St. Paul's Ep-worth league.
