Mr. Lyman's duets with himself were equally pleasing and demonstated in the same maner as the singer the fidelity of the machine reproduction. Interspersed with these numbers were given several repro
ductions of piano, vocal and orchestral numbers. The climax of the demonstration came when the stage was darkened and Miss Gardner started singing: with the Edison. When the lights were suddenly (lashed on it was revealed that only the machine was playing, although the tone was a3 full and rich as the original. The recital was arranged by tho l'dison department of the A. H. Heller Furnitur company.
