Hostilities between both teams will be resumed after a lapse of one year. The 19 IS game was cancelled by the U. S. War lepartment since both institutions were devoting all their time in training the students and adequate transportation facilities were used for other purposes. Notre Dame has met the Army combination since l)lo heaving the edge on the easterners by one par-ic. The last appearance of the Irish at West Point was in 1917. Notre Dame winning by a 7 to 2 score.
