Eells. pastor of the W. .minster Presbyterian church. anj A, Dalton Moomaw. county road supervisor, were the principal speakers at the repular noonday luncheon of the Kiwanis club Thursday at the Oliver hotel. Dr. Kells gave a brief history of the Presbyterian church from the day of Pentecast when it was established to the present time. He ?poke of the work oi' the churches of the country accomplished during the war period and the extensive plans the Presbyterians are formulating for the future. Supervisor Moomaw spoke of the work done in the county along pood road lines and the manner in which the important highways of the county are to be repaired and new roads constructed. He told of the various materials roads are constructed of at present and laid especial emphasis on the concrete road as the practical road to build due to its stability and cost.
