Prices on the city market continued at their high pitch Saturday morning, berries being very prominent and a bij price being asked for them. Old and young chickens were plentiful, the former selling for 25 cents and the latter at IS cents a pound. Fggs were out of reach at 4S cents a dozen, while no butter or cottage cheese was for si Je. Vegetables were selling at a reasonable price, usually being sohl at a or 10 eents u bunch while tring beans and green peas were selling for 15 to 20 cents a pound. Cherries were held for 25 cents a ejuart and black raspberries for 20 cent per quart. There were a very few new potatoes early in the morning that were easily disposed of ut $2.70 per bubhel.
