SUGGESTS THAT FLAGS BE NOW TAKEN DOWN Now that the war is militarily, of-

ficially and diplomatically ended, it has been suggested to The NewsTimes that after Friday the Flags displayed on the buildings throughout the city he "demobilized." Patriotic in every endeavor put forth toward the winning of the war, Mishawaka has flown the Stars and Stripes continuously since peace was declared. Now, however, it is felt those emblems should be removed from the conspicuous places they occupy until occasion should arise for their being again unfurled. The Woolen Mfg. Co. has promiscuously displayed the national Colors from its buildings for many months, but after the "Fourth" will remove them for the time being. As an oflicial aptly put it: "It is most commendable to display the nation's Flag on all patriotic occasions, but now that the war has been won it might just be as well to forget it." LINCOLN THEATER ATTRACTION "The Way of the Strong." a grlpping drama of the great northwest, starring Anna Q. Nilsson, will be the feature at the Lincoln today. The scenes are laid in the Yukon where, in the first part of the play, Miss Nilsson is seen as Audrey, the unfaithful wife of a young prospector while later on she plays Monica Norton, half sister to Audrey who, in the end, heals the suffering caused by her weaker sister. It Is a play which touches the deep undercurrents of human emotions--weaving a web of romance which thrills and stirs. A screaming farce. "Looney Lyons and Monkey Business," one of the funniest comedies ever shown, will be an added attraction. TO GO TO MICHIGAN. J. E. Sharpe of the Lincoln Gardens Co., will spend the day in Michigan on business. NORTH SIDE BANK. Money deposited in this bank prior to July 12 will draw interest from July 1. tf--Advt.
