Time of starting the bouts was changed today whon Ad Th.iteh-r, president of the Toledo Athletic club, annoupced that two preliminaries wnuld be dispens'd with. This will set the first bout at noon. In a quiet spot on the sun-baked Fhorofi.of MaumPf' hay. behind tho locked screen doors of thf v-rl ind ciub, Jack LVunpsey, ehallenp-r of Jess Willard, the world's heavyweight champion, sat cheerfully optimistic. HIa 245 pound rival for the srentest hc.ior In the qift of fistlana lolled about tho s in porch of a house within the best residential district of Toledo. Jew Willard Thursday deviated from his announcod schedule of a motor ride only before meeting Jack Tmrsty, when he rod' downtown and walked into the Srcor hotel for a few moments. The huge champion was instantly the center of hundreds of eyes. The lobby of thei hotel was cro wiled. He nodded to a few friends, shook hands with pome newspapermen und went away. Trains continued to delude the town with visitors Thursday. Every arriving train brought more of the-w. Hotelr hunpr out the "S. It.
