BOARD OF SAFETY CONSIDERS HUMANE MEASURE FRIDAY

J. Smith et al., Friday evening, but the matter was referred to the city council. Members of the Houth Uend Humane .society appeared before the board, which accounts for the business In hand. City Atty. KUck will be akM to draw up an ordinance providing for a human collection of dop, and providing also for the keeping of the dogs for several days before they are killed, members of the Humane society say. It Is the Intention of the society to have inserted in the ordinance a provision for killing the dogs by means of a hypodermic needle.
