ENTERTAINS ON 'LADIES' NIGHT'

Local Talent Join Advertising Men in Presenting the Ladies An Unusually Clever Program.

An enjoyable dinner and a clever, entertaining program, made up almost entirely by local talent, composed the evening's entertainment for the ladies by the Ad-Sell league Thursday night at the Oliver hotel. W. K. Kimport, with the assistance of John Dellaven. acted as taistmaster. Prof. J. C. Curran of New York added an interesting half hour to the program with his talk on memory. In his talk he illustrated his contentions, that the memory can b trained to do seemingly Impossible feats, by repeating the name of everyone "present whom he hid met thronsh only a casual Introduction hefore the dinner. lie also startled his atic!Jence by his uncanny ability to remember the location of each card in an ordinary deck by calling them ft' without seeing them as they were held up in rotation.
